Brookleas sits in a fold of the Oxfordshire countryside, on the Ginge Brook — a classic chalk stream that rises from clear spring sources only a few miles upstream. That water is the whole reason this farm works. Chalk streams run cold, clean and steady all year, which is exactly what a rainbow trout wants.
We're the last trout farm left in Oxfordshire. We've been at it since 1999.
What we sell
Fresh trout, traditional oak smoked trout, smoked trout pâté and seasonal trout roe. Everything is reared and prepared here on the farm — we won't sell you something we can't stand behind.
What we do
Alongside the farm where we run the catch-your-own lake, we host birthday parties and school trips and sell at farmers' markets across the local area.

The farm is open to visitors and it's a good day out whether you've fished before or never held a rod.
